Upon receiving more than 450 hours of training in Home Inspection from Texas A&M-Commerce, I was tested and licensed by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) as a Professional Inspector (#9199). Being a licensed real estate inspector by TREC means that I must adhere to certain minimum standards of practice. Each inspection I complete exceeds these minimum standards that TREC has established for home inspectors.
Besides having a Bachelor’s Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, I have over 15 years experience in home construction, remodeling and handyman work as well as being a 20-year veteran of the Dallas Fire Department. The latter has given me great insight as to what occurs to a home when all of its systems are under attack. As such, I am continually examining homes with an “eye” for fire safety.
