Tyler Home Inspector Credentials

I received my training in home inspection from Texas A&M-Commerce (over 450 hours) and am licensed with the Texas Real Estate Commission, license #9199.  Being a licensed real estate inspector by TREC means that I must adhere to certain minimum standards of practice.  Each inspection I complete exceeds these minimum standards that TREC has established for home inspectors.
(TREC Standards)

Along with having a Bachelor's Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, I have over 15 years of experience in home construction, remodeling and handyman work as well as being with the Dallas Fire Department for the last 27 years.  As a fireman, I am continually examining homes for fire safety.

I have been married to Michelle for 28 years and we have 3 children.  I also teach a Bible study class for young singles at Southside Baptist Church.  When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling and puttering about.

I am a member in "Marginally Adequate" standing of the following organizations:

International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI)
Independent Home Inspectors of North America (IHINA)
Greater Tyler Association of Realtors
International Code Council
Texas Association of Real Estate Inspectors,
Texas Professional Real Estate Inspectors Association
